SurveyCTO is a platform for designing, conducting, and managing secure mobile data collection, and is particularly suited for offline field surveys.

It includes SurveyCTO Collect (a mobile app for Android/iOS), a server for hosting forms, and tools for real-time monitoring, data encryption, and quality checks like random audio audits. The platform supports complex workflows for researchers, NGOs, and evaluations in low-connectivity areas.

Indus Action has its own server – https://iaforms.surveycto.com/index.html#Design – which can be used for the same purpose. Your first step in the journey of using SurveyCTO would be to create an account and exploring the various aspects of the server.

This course covers the following aspects:

  2. Basic Question Types — text, numbers, choices, GPS, media, and repeats
